Doll making
I have been busy making Dolls. Whoops! I don't seem to be able to sit quite still as a crafter. I never have really. What I love about doll making is the possiblity of including just about all the other crafts I know and love. I hope I will be satisfied with the challenge of making new dolls for a while.
Lots of things have been going on. I am teaching two students to sew. I am thrilled with their work so far. That has been keeping me busy and upbuilt. As for family all are well and they give me a huge list of tasks daily, that's been keeping me busy too. Marcus's end of year party looms an this weekend we are off to Llandudno. I hope the glorious weather holds out. Anyhow here's what I've been up to lately.

A New Obsession
Those who visit regularly know I am a butterfly where crafts are concern. I flit from thing to thing. This is something that evident in my latest craft discovery. Cloth, clay dolls. This involves, sewing, sculpting and painting. I am so excited about my new projects. Wish me luck.
Just out of interest, what do you do with your unfinished wips and projects that you don't finish. I keep them but I need to have a sort out and do something with them. This one is my fave. She is called Gertie.
My second is called Hildagard. She is matronly, not at all like the pretty little thing I had in my mind. I am also working on doll three.
I need to see whether I love it before I invest in what looks like a great online class.

WoYwW
My workdesk has a layer of washing which I removed to reveal
There are some WIPs amongst the general mess.
New Linen Pincushion
This is my new pincushion. I hope you will agree that she is a beaut. She is reminiscent of a bygone era and I think befitting my new(old) sewing machine. Pictures to follow. I especially love that button detail that you really have to see irl.
And just for a laugh here's my baby covered in Nivea Cream.

More flowers
The beginnings of a ruby wedding anniversary card. The finished article won't be much different. The flowers do so much.
