Missed this place

Like a sweet tea and biscuit treat after a hard day at CRAFT.  That's what this place is to me.  I haven't been blogging for a few years now and while the trend has waned I miss my daily posts about life in scrapsville.  You will be pleased to know that all is well.  I feel more like my old self.  My crafting confidence has grown and there are good things in the pipe line.

I have been messing around with the fun stuff in scrapsville.  My fave things are paper and ink just now.  I will be sharing my playtime and hoping to inspire.

This pattern is a slow grower but well worth all my effort.  I have ripped row after row down because I have made mistakes, but finally the rhythm of this one is embedded in my brain.  The work is now 20".  I have 2 more inches to go.  Will post a picture later.

What have I been up to! Lots and lots of things that have not involved crafting. I have been very busy with life.

Recently I have picked up mi knitting needles and embarked on an ambitous project. Quelle surprise! This is what I am attempting to make!

I carved this little treasure yesterday. Well I started it yesterday, but finished it today. I couldn't resist taking a few prints and making stickers.

Holiday mode.

Sleepy mornings with a mug of coffee. Quiet! No rush or frenzied exclamations. This holiday mode sneaks in. Sitting, contemplation, sunshine and time to enjoy nature. Ahh!
